Admin
The admin section is where you configure and operate your Anter workspace. It covers everything that lives above the level of an individual agent — who has access, which external services are connected, what documents are available, and how the platform is performing.
Integrations
Connect MCP servers and model providers to your workspace.
Knowledge Base
Upload documents and assign them to the projects that need them.
Team
Invite users and manage roles across your organization.
What's in the admin section
| Module | What you do here |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | A high-level view of organizations and active users across your workspace |
| Agent Builder | A read-only topology view of the platform's code-based agent registry — useful for understanding the underlying architecture |
| Integrations | Connect external services to your organization via MCP servers; manage LLM model providers |
| Knowledge Base | Upload documents and web pages that agents can draw on, organized by project |
| Organization | Invite and manage team members; view organization details and your current role |
Who uses the admin section
Most admin modules require an owner or admin role within your organization. Members can access the Knowledge Base and their own profile but cannot manage users, view organization settings, or configure integrations.
How admin relates to Chat and Flows
The admin section handles workspace-level configuration. The resources you set up here — MCP server connections, knowledge base documents, model providers — flow into the agents you build in Flows and the conversations you run in Chat.
Set up model providers
Before agents can run, at least one LLM provider must be configured. Go to Integrations → Model Providers to add your API keys.
Connect external services
Add MCP servers to give your agents access to external tools — databases, file storage, APIs — without configuring each one per-project.
Upload knowledge
Upload documents to the Knowledge Base and assign them to the projects whose agents should be able to reference them.
Invite your team
Add colleagues via Organization → Team and assign them the appropriate role for their responsibilities.
No model provider configured?
If you see a Connect a model provider banner on the Dashboard, your agents can't run yet. Go to Integrations → Model Providers to add one before building in Flows.
